Sometimes the part of a story you want to talk about is two people. The almost-confession, the argument, the tiny moment that makes you go back a page and read it again.

I wanted to give that side of fandom its own little space. Set Sail is a set of shipping widgets for Notion, made for following a fictional pairing: their name, their relationship stages and the moments you want to keep.

A page for this particular pair

Ship Name gives the pairing a place at the top of the page. Underneath it, you can keep your thoughts in Notion: why you like them together, where you are in the story, or the scene you’re still thinking about.

I’d start there. One pair, a little heading and a few notes. You can add the other pieces as you find something you want to track.

For the relationship that takes its time

Slow Burn gives the relationship a current stage. Change it yourself as the story moves along. You get to decide what that moment meant, which is rather a large part of shipping in the first place.

Try the actual Slow Burn widget from Set Sail. Sample preview; changes here are not saved.

The scene deserves a note

Milestone Thread gives relationship moments somewhere to sit, with prompts and chapter or scene references. Keep the moments that fit your pairing and leave the rest blank.

For a rewatch, you could put the episode beside a small note about what changed between them. For a book, a chapter reference saves a lot of page-flicking later. Your longer thoughts can stay alongside the widget in Notion.

A little space for birthdays too

The set also has Birthday, Anniversary and Chapter Pulse widgets. You can choose the ones that belong on your page; you don’t have to use the whole set at once.

Set Sail is a styled set, so check its access and customisation options before setting up your embeds. If you’d like to start with an individual widget, there are also standalone Slow Burn and Ship Birthday widgets.

I hope these give your favourite pairing a nice little home. And somewhere for that scene you really do need to talk about.
